is that an eyeball?

I don't really do halloween .. never has. It's not a danish thing, and it will never really be. It has started coming here more and more, and being a mom of two kids, i can't push it away anymore. Life is hard!

So my daughter is in last year of nursery school, and the parent team made a halloween sleepover for the kids. She really wanted to go, so of course i was going with her. We also said yes to make a cake.

This was a hit .. The kids loved it.
And they loved it even more, when i said it was the eyes, of my sons classmates. Parents was laughing as well.

It's basically a basic cake dough, with spinach in it, to make natural green inside. The cream on top is mascarpone and heavy cream mixed with vanilla sugar. Some mint leaves on top, and lychee fruit with blueberries on them. Red fruit colour to make the eyeballs look bloodshot.
